OLIS DSM 245

CPL Solo plus Circular Dichroism

Measure your chiral molecules in both their ground and excited states using this one compact, all new spectrophotometry system. Think of it as an OLIS DSM 20 CD with CPL or as an OLIS CPL Solo with circular dichroism; both are correct. Single beam absorbance, fluorescence, anisotropy, circularly polarized luminescence, and circular dichroism. Two spectral ranges are available, UV optimized or red shifted.

 Standard Model Performance

  • Absorbance

  • Fluorescence

  • Anisotropy

  • Circularly Polarized Fluorescence

  • Circular Dichroism

 OLIS DSM 245

Photographs provided by the Kuehne laboratory, University of Ulm, Germany, March 2024. The base instrument is comprised of the lamp, two monochromators, and Polarization Toolbox. Visible in these photographs are the associated free-standing electronics boxes, power supplies, and computer system.

The modularity of OLIS instruments empowers us to quickly diagnose any issues with individual components and for the lab to easily and economically access and/or return just what failed for shortest possible downtime.

 "Gorgeous data!"

The OLIS Polarization Toolbox is the sample compartment used on the CPL Solo

This sample compartment is unique in providing user access to the polarizers. Without tools or alignment, you can add or remove the optional excitation polarizer.

Do you know what a “subtractive” double monochromator is?

We didn’t either, until we invented one. (And then another!) These alternatives to the “additive” double monochromators used by all the other commercial manufacturers have very useful advantages. Learn about their zero temporal dispersion and homogeneous output beams here.
