Kinetic Spectrophotometry Systems for Solutions & Suspension Experiments

Making every experiment a brilliant breakthrough event!

The equipment on this page are without peer.

The OLIS RSM 1000 was patented in 1994 and remains the best spectrophotometer for stopped-flow spectroscopy. Every scan is a one millisecond sweep of 230 nm breadth. And unlike with the diode array systems, there is no compromise in performance to get speed. Milliabsorbance sensitivity in millseconds with no photobleaching of the sample.

Replace the stopped-flow with the integrating cavity and create the CLARiTY 1000. Now you can follow metabolic studies of whole cells and other fast kinetics of suspensions. Capture the entire electron transport chain on living prokaryotic, plant and mammalian cells as they undergo thermal, chemical, and aging events using scans rates of 100/sec.

  • OLIS CLARiTY 1000

    Successful with suspensions

    Up to 100 scans/second

    Sub-microabsorbance sensitivity

    Dual beam PMT detection

    240-800 nm

  • RSM 1000

Developed for stopped-flow kinetic studies, this unique and patented scanning spectrophotometry system captures 1,000 scans per second with  milliabsorbance sensitivity

Laser/ flash photolysis at 1,000 points per 0.5 milliseconds

No diode array or CCD is superior for speed, sensitivity, & wavelength specificity

 The CLARiTY Advantage

Integrating Cavity UV/Vis Spectrophotometers – CLARiTY Models – are for Clear and Not Clear Samples!

Everyone knows about cuvettes. The most common is a 1 cm² version. Short pathlength cuvettes are the alternative for high absorbance studies. Masked cuvettes are used for low volume samples. Cuvettes must be quartz for UV (nominally 170-400 nm); glass and plastic cuvettes can be used for visible and NIR range.
