These data were acquired using a evaluator supplied industry standard, known to us only as “S3.” The sample was quite turbid.
Measurements were made on both the gold standard Aminco DW-2 and a CLARiTY.
Notice that they are in the UV, where the DW-2 is known to be a weak performer, and how the answers get close(r) as they approach 400 nm (i.e., the visible region).
For studies in the visible such as cytochrome P450, the OLIS modernized Aminco DW-2 remains a very good and popular instrument. However, as these data affirm, one should choose a CLARiTY instead of the older technology for measurements in the UV.
