OLIS DM 45

Our most sensitive fluorimeter

Developed as a workhorse fluorimeter with easy modularity and relentless reliability, the DM 45 is frequently upcycled to include anisotropy, circularly polarized luminescence, and more. Two single grating monochromators, a steady-state xenon arc lamp, and either the Hamamatsu photon counting UV/Vis (230-870 nm) or ‘her Majesty’ Hamamatsu photon counting NIR detector (800-1700 nm) are operated using OLIS SpectralWorks.

Emission using ‘the Majesty’ NIR photon counter

Look at the Y-axis of the emission. The sensitivity is a full 1000-fold higher than with the next best NIR detector. If you are very serious about NIR emission, invest in the Majesty.

“Our DM 45 is still running perfectly, which is remarkable considering its age. We've done a few repairs, upgraded the host computer, and replaced the lamp power source, but the fundamentals (gratings, detector) seem to be working as well as Day 1.”
